  Love IKEA at North lakes. It's incorporated into the main shopping mall. Easier to get out of than the one in Logan!

  Having said that, the outdoor area is nice, and there is an Ikea attached to it. Also, the cinemas are pretty good too. Finally, you get 3 hours free parking there as you normally would in any Westfield.

  The shopping centre itself has a fantastic range of retailers and restaurants however, the last two trips (for Christmas shopping) in a week and a half I've noticed it is uncomfortably hot in the centre. A large number of stores had absolutely no air conditioning and overall the centre was not pleasant to walk around, due to just how warm it was. Given that it is a huge and very popular centre, it is summer and peak purchasing time, you would hope that Westfield would be making more than enough money to ensure a cool environment for its shoppers and the poor staff that are working all day in the horrible heat. According to several staff members however it (Westfield) has advised they are not responsible for cooling all stores, absolutely ridiculous!

  If venture into one of the wings, to go to Coles, for example, there is no other way to reach shops in another corridor without making your way back through the same corridor you just came.

  An odd layout. Spend more time walking between shops than in them. Hard to find cinema parking entrance.

  This is a nice shopping centre, with a number of entertainment, service, food and retail options, but I simply cannot get past the odd shape/layout.

  It is a newly built shopping mall so everything looks modern and shiny and latest technologies implemented. Food court is awesome and so are the restaurants. Cinema entrance and courtyard has the gold class feel.
